Over the years, I have been blessed with wonderful opportunities to work with great artists, and that was one thing that I missed deeply. Thus I decided to revive the split series, but wanted to make it a bit different. I liked the minimalist aesthetic of the previous series, modeling it after generic products, so I decided to make this ideal even more explicit and settled on the name "Generic Music." These releases will come in a plain white sleeve with a label on the front with the title and track listing.

I have long been a fan of Dan Fox's music, so it made sense that I would want to collaborate with him, and decided to launch this series with a split between Stolen Light and his digital noise project FFI Digital. I was pleased with how well the two tracks complement each other.
