Many years ago, I had planned to do a 4-disc set dedicated to the elements of earth, air, fire, and water. However, this never materialized, and Ovum eventually released "Eld," his disc using fire as the sound source on another label. As eld was the Swedish word for fire, I decided to use the Swedish word for water, which was my sole sound source for this disc. Recording this was a lot of fun, and I found out that microphones can handle being submerged in water and can make really cool sounds when doing so.
Each of the discs has a hand painted cover on canvas. There is also a special edition for specific people that comes with a full sized painting inscribed to each person. I wanted to do something special for the 50th ZR release, and I wanted to do this as a thanks to those who have believed in my work and helped me along the way.
