Call for Tracks: The seasons are changing, so that means it is time to start thinking about the upcoming installment of the Zaftig Research Holiday Compilation. It's hard to believe that this will be 19 years of holiday cheer. If you want to be a part of it, start by reading our
Manifesto on Noise. We try to keep this a family affair because if kids can't listen to noisy holiday music, they may turn to Mariah Carey's terrible holiday music and no one wants that. We like celebrations of holidays, the season, etc. We keep it pretty open, but we want it to be a good time and focus on the theme (winter, winter holidays). This is not the time to vent your anger at particular holidays or send me some random song that you have laying around. If you're on board, send a 3-5 minute noise / dark ambient/ weird holiday track in wav format to
info@zaftigresearch.com. It's easiest to send a link via WeTransfer, or some similar site. In return, you'll get two copies of the compilation packaged in lovely holiday cards - one for you and one for someone special. The deadline is Novemeber 21, 2026.
